Very neat and quiet restaurant with friendly service. The dishes are all very tasty and the portions very reasonable in relation to the price. There are two playgrounds on the fenced-in area to keep the children busy, which is really great ...

Nice restaurant in the middle of the forest. Playground and large parking lot available. Service friendly and fast, food came quickly even though the patio was quite full. The food was very tasty and plentiful, we would say price-performance ratio fits. The ambience could still be tweaked a bit, then nothing stands in the way of the 5 stars. For a spontaneous detour, but very positively surprised, you can definitely do it!

That was delicious! If you like game or fish, you've definitely come to the right place. But the vegetarian dishes were also impressive. I would love to come back!

We celebrated our wedding there .. Decoration, service, service, food ... Everything was just right. The team was extremely committed and went to great lengths to make the day perfect. It was really great. We will unreservedly recommend the Forsthof.

A great restaurant for all event sizes, beautifully located in the forest. Great food, coffee, cake, ice cream, etc. Recommended.

Nice destination in the middle of the forest. Thank goodness we made a reservation as it was very well attended. Much on the site was also redone. Playground available. Eating wasn't wrong either. Seasonal dishes were also offered. I can only recommend a visit there.

Today we were at the Forsthof Weidmannsheil and were disappointed. It started already that we waited 20 minutes to be able to take our ordered seats. The food was only lukewarm, the chanterelles were not seasoned and the herb butter on the rump steak was frozen and therefore could not melt because the rump steak was not that hot either. The environment very nice.

Nice ambience and playground, service was slow and inattentive. Eating was lukewarm and relatively expensive for the potion.

Simply a beautiful place in nature. Perfect for all kinds of events and a super nice team that fulfills all your wishes. The food was great.

We were invited to the "Weidmannsheil" forest yard in Bennewitz for dinner by friends. When we arrived we were pleasantly surprised by the atmosphere. The crowning glory was the menu! Exquisitely presented and of excellent taste quality. If you want something extraordinary, you should come here!

Price-performance ratio was not even close. The service took a long time despite the almost empty shop and the food was an absolute disappointment. The price was really high, the portion small. Food was relatively cold and tasting is different. For comparison, the same dish was ordered as a child's size and lo and behold, the same size for a lower price. Outrageous and never again. For two occupied tables, please order your drinks when the glass is still full. After half an hour you had to ask again if they had already been forgotten. Never again in this location.

Super delicious food, nice service, nice ambience- nice rooms. Ideal for family celebrations or events. There is a playground for children. Easily accessible by car, horse or bike. The surrounding area invites you to go for a walk.
